Good morning everyone,
As you can tell, I’m a newbie here. I’m not really a weightlifter, but I’m hoping some people with experience can help me out here. I’m a martial artist, and I’ve been studying kung fu for nearly 13 years now. My problem is, I’m trying to drop about 10lbs of body fat. I’m weighing in somewhere between 178 and 180 lbs, and no matter what I do, I can’t drop below that. I don’t understand what’s going on. I’m consuming somewhere between 1200 and 1400 calories per day, and I’m burning at least 850 calories a day in my workouts. I’ve been doing the P90X strength routines on MWF, and my kung fu for cardio, stretching, and joint strength on Tuesday, Thursday, & Saturday. Sometimes I’ll workout twice on Tuesday & Thursday, and use a 20lb weight vest with 5lb ankle & wrist weights in the morning. I’m consuming on average 130 – 140 grams of protein per day. My typical workout routine is as follows:

Monday: 400 pushups, 84 pullups, 15-20 minutes of ab work. (P90X Chest & back, Ab Ripper X)
Tuesday: At least an hour of kung fu training. Lots of cardio, heavy emphasis on legs (butt should be knee-level almost all the time). Sometimes, a morning session with the weight vest.
Wednesday: Shoulders, Arms, Abs. (P90X Shoulders & Arms, Ab Ripper X)
Thursday: At least an hour of kung fu training. Sometimes, a morning session with the weight vest.
Friday: P90X Legs & Back, Ab Ripper X.
Saturday: Kung Fu. Lots of bag work, stretching, etc.

My diet contains a lot of egg whites, salmon, turkey burgers, fruits and vegetables. At least a gallon of water per day. I’m taking PharmaFreak Ripped Freak twice a day, I’m taking TestoPro testosterone booster, 3g of fish oil daily, and a multivitamin. Before my workouts, I take MuscleTech NaNoVapor pre-workout.

Any ideas or suggestions? I’m at a loss and starting to get a little frustrated. I know there’s at least 10lbs of body fat there I can lose, and I’d REALLY like to see my abs again (I can kinda make out the top 2 sets, but the lower set is still hidden in a fat roll).

Beach body shape

I am 225, out of shape and looking to get in beach body shape by end of July.. I built this diet and I think it looks pretty good, besides the protein in take. I can’t figure a way to keep my calorie in take low enough to lose fat and have my protein as high as it should be.. Any suggestions?
