My neighbors across the street are Cuban and they are having a huge party for New Years’ with a live band, lots of screaming children, roasted pig cooking in the yard, etc. I was outside cleaning my car and saw that many of my other white neighbors were gathering in small groups talking sh*t and were collaborating about how to shut down the party. Two middle-aged women came over and tried to get me involved, saying how it was obnoxious how "those people" were acting. When I told them I really don’t care because it’s 8:30 pm on a holiday, they got all pissy at me. They called the cops twice already and from what I’ve seen, nothing has happened, probably because the cops told them to take a Xanax and chill out.

The same thing happened earlier this month when some Vietnamese people on my street had a lot of people over and cars were parked everywhere. All the butthurt white Americans were steaming like a pressure-cooker and actually left their TVs and computers to stand outside in groups and get all angry.

But she is currently going out with a good friend of mine.
